Control your computer from your phone

Set your AI running at your desk, then check in, steer it and grab the results from your phone, anywhere.

Once your AI is doing real multi-step work, you don't want to be chained to the desk while it runs. The move a lot of people miss: you can start a job, walk away, and manage it from your phone, approving steps, reading results, kicking off the next thing. Here's the shape of it.

What's inside

1

Why this changes how work feels

The point isn't gadget novelty. It's that long-running AI work no longer traps you. Set a task going in the morning, and handle the check-ins from the school run, the coffee queue, the sofa. The desk becomes where you start work, not where you're stuck babysitting it.

What this means for you: the value of an AI that works while you're away disappears if you have to sit next to it. Remote access is what makes 'runs itself' actually true.
2

The two common setups

Broadly, there are two routes, from simplest to most capable.

The easy way

Use an app or connector that lets you message your AI and get results on your phone. Minimal setup, great for check-ins and kicking off tasks.

The full way

A remote-access tool into your actual desktop, so you can see and control the machine itself. More power, a bit more setup.

What this means for you: start with the easy way. Most people find messaging-style control covers 90% of what they actually need on the go.
3

Do it without opening a hole

Remote access to your machine is powerful, which means it needs to be locked down: strong authentication, trusted tools only, and clear limits on what the AI can do unattended. Convenience and security aren't opposites here, but you do have to set both up on purpose.

What this means for you: the same door that lets you in lets others try. Use reputable tools, turn on every layer of authentication, and only grant what you'll actually use.
