3 tasks to automate this week

Not 'automate your whole business'. Three specific, doable wins you can set up in an afternoon.

Automation advice is usually too big to act on. 'Systematise everything' is not a task you can do on a Tuesday. So here are three concrete ones, small enough to actually finish this week, useful enough that you'll feel the time come back. Pick one and start there.

What's inside

1

1: Triage your inbox before you open it

Have AI read your inbox and sort it: what needs a reply today, what's just waiting on someone, what's reference. You open your email to a prioritised list instead of a wall of unread. This is the single most common 'where did my morning go' fix.

What this means for you: you're not deleting the human judgement, you're deleting the ten minutes of sorting before you even start. Do it daily and it compounds.

2: Turn one piece of content into five

You already make content, a video, a call, a long post. Hand it to AI and have it spin out the offshoots: a short summary, three social posts, an email, a set of talking points. One input, a week of outputs, in your voice if you've set memory up.

What this means for you: the bottleneck was never ideas. It was the grind of reformatting the same idea five ways. That's exactly what AI is good at.

3: Never start from a blank page again

Proposals, follow-ups, FAQ answers, job posts. Give AI your rough notes and a past example, and it returns a solid first draft you edit instead of write. The blank page is where hours quietly disappear; a decent draft in ten seconds changes the whole task.

What this means for you: editing is faster than creating from nothing. Move your effort to the part only you can do, the judgement, and let AI do the typing.
