What is Remotion?

Normally you make an animated video by dragging clips around in After Effects or Premiere. Remotion flips that: every frame is built by code. Because it's code, you can generate it, change it, and re-render it instantly.

The 2026 unlock: Remotion now has a prompt-to-video feature. You describe the video in natural language, and Claude Code writes the entire Remotion project for you. No React. No code. You describe → Claude builds → Claude renders.

It picks up Remotion automatically, reads the animation rules, writes every React component, and handles the timing. You just watch.
